Michael is a human character living in Mondealy. He is the main protagonist of the game.

Background

Michael is portrayed as a Caucasian young adult male in his early 20's. He has brown hair (Ordinary Ordinariness style), wears a bright, yellow button-shirt, and dark blue trousers. He is the character the player plays as in the game.

At the beginning of the game, a human figure (Traveler), enters Dan's Tavern wearing a large trench coat and an old fedora. The same costume can be found in Michael's house.

Story

Michael begins the story by talking with his friend, Barnie, who is leaving tomorrow. From there, Michael talks to his sister, Ellie , who takes Michael to the beach for the evening to pick up some logs for a later project. She then says bye to Michael and intends on meeting him again tomorrow.

On the next day, Ellie shows her to a tower that she is eager in trying to investigate. In the investigation, they find a random key on the second floor of the castle, this leads the duo to Dary's house, who is seen as an expert on keys and other precious artifacts. Before they are able to do so, Ellie decides to leave early for an unknown reason, leaving Michael to investigate. After Dary inspects the key, she suspects that the key may be able to open a secret door within the tower. This leads Michael back to the tower, where after fidgeting the key with a trap door, is at last able to open it, reveling a underground cave below. Curious, Michael is able to explore the cave a little further when is suddenly hit in the head with a baseball bat by Hass with Riley overseeing the event.

After waking up from the blow, he is met with a Dargratt guard named Hass. Once he is has a short chat Michael, he releases him and escorts him to the castle, where he is brought before King Karhen. There, King Karhen makes the decision to

• Michael clothes are mainly inspired by Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop.
• Michael is implied to have heterochromia, which means he has two different eye colors.
• Michael is a blank slate protagonist, meaning that he is mostly a normal guy with no big special attributes. He also has symptoms of Main Character syndrome, though this is more of an easter egg.
